Emily Ottelien, Director of Revenue and Performance

Emily Ottelien champions data and revenue at IDM as the Director of Revenue and Performance. Holding both a Bachelor’s in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management and an MBA from Bowling Green State University, Emily’s years of corporate hotel experience have provided a well-rounded view of the hospitality industry. As a leader in hotel operations, Emily focused their teams on training, compliance, and growth.

Emily leads our revenue optimization strategy across the portfolio, including rate analysis, channel management, KPI evaluation, and technology optimization. She serves as a key strategic partner in driving profitability, while continuing to strengthen how we leverage technology, data, and analytics in both our internal and external decision making.

Known for a love of literature and Taylor Swift, Emily also has a passion for travel, live music, and spending time with their husband, daughter, corgi, and three cats. In October 2024, Emily self-published their first novel, a murder mystery set in a fictional boutique hotel.
