Emily Ottelien joined IDM as the Hotel Revenue & Insights Analyst in 2023. Holding both a Bachelor’s in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management and an MBA from Bowling Green State University, Emily’s years of corporate hotel experience have provided a well-rounded view of the hospitality industry. As a leader in hotel operations, Emily focused their teams on training, compliance, and growth.
Since becoming part of the IDM team, Emily has remained dedicated to these values, focusing on providing monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with IDM standards, and driving ongoing training and education programs across the portfolio.
Known for a love of literature and Taylor Swift, Emily also has a passion for travel, live music, and spending time with their husband, corgi, and three cats. Emily continues to work on their first novel, a murder mystery set in a fictional boutique hotel.
