The Edgewater Resort dates back to the early 1900s as a center for community life in the tiny fishing village of Ephraim, Wisconsin. Today it continues its prominence as one of Door County’s premier historic waterfront properties. The resort underwent a major renovation in the 1990s to create a 32-room property made up of one & two-bedroom suites, cottages, and traditional guest rooms with coveted views of Eagle Harbor.
The resort is open year-round in a highly seasonal market and offers seasonal dining at the Old Post Office restaurant, its name a reflection of the building’s previous role in the community. IDM’s guidance increased revenues 40% with a new approach to online distribution and aggressive revenue management.
