SPRINGFIELD, MO (November 12, 2015) – Hotel Vandivort achieved the prestigious Four Diamond Rating following a recent on-site evaluation by AAA professional hospitality inspectors. This is the first hotel in Springfield to be awarded the elite distinction. Only five percent of the more than 28,000 properties approved by AAA are designated Four Diamond.

“We are incredibly excited to bring this high-end hospitality experience into the Springfield market,” said co-owner John McQueary. “Our city is ever growing and well-traveled individuals are increasingly demanding personalized service and high-design. As an upscale downtown boutique property we are uniquely suited for these guests.”

“We are thrilled, not only for our business but for our city,” adds co-owner Billy McQueary. “This is one more piece allowing Springfield to compete with larger metropolitan areas”

Currently in North America, just 1,544 hotels hold the AAA Four Diamond Rating. Hotels at the Four Diamond level are committed to providing every guest with a personalized experience and attentive service in comfortable, high-quality surroundings, according to AAA.

“AAA is pleased to recognize Hotel Vandivort as a Four Diamond hotel,” said Michael Petrone, director of AAA Inspections & Diamond Ratings. “To maintain the exceptional standards required for this rating on a daily basis is an outstanding achievement. AAA Four Diamond establishments are attentive to guests needs and consistently deliver memorable travel and dining experiences.”

In celebration, Hotel Vandivort invites locals to come explore the newly rated property and The Order, Hotel Vandivort’s signature restaurant and bar, has developed a handcrafted Four Diamond cocktail.

Located in the heart of Springfield at 305 E. Walnut, the sophisticated and design-inspired Hotel Vandivort is a key part of the city’s ongoing downtown renaissance. Through a complete restoration of the 1906 Masonic Temple, Hotel Vandivort and its signature restaurant, The Order,

have been created as a cultural hub and gathering place for Springfield-area residents as well as an upscale lodging option for visitors. The property offers 50 high-design guest rooms, 12 suites and two premiere suites.
