an intimate hotel in the city of big shoulders

The Buckingham Hotel is made up of 21 rooms on the 40th floor of 425 S. Financial Place, a building that was originally designed by famed Chicago architecture firm Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill to house the Chicago Stock Exchange. IDM added The Buckingham Hotel to its portfolio in 2017, and the hotel claims both the fewest number of rooms and the largest home city of any hotel managed by IDM. Hotel guests have access to Buckingham Athletic Club, a full-service fitness club including indoor pool, dining options, and event space all located in the building. The hotel also makes good use of its prime location in the Loop and partners with neighboring businesses to offer guests the full range of experiences one expects in a world-class city like Chicago.
